Police Search for Missing Elderly UES Woman Last Seen Thursday

Police are asking the public’s help finding a missing elderly Upper East side woman who suffers from dementia who hasn’t been seen since Thursday afternoon, when she was out for a walk.

78-year-old Ying Liu was last seen on Thursday around 2:30 pm, walking near Third Avenue and East 66th Street in Lenox Hill, police say, not far from her home on 65th Street near Second Avenue.

Liu was last seen wearing a red bucket cap, blue jacket, black pants and black sneakers, police said. If she’s seen, you’re asked to call 911 immediately.

UPDATE: The NYPD confirms Ying Like was found safe Friday afternoon.
