  1. From the photo it looks like he was a delivery guy..
Although nobody deserves to be hit by a motorist those dudes can be completely reckless..
We all see them zipping all over the place..

Our city has become a racetrack with delivery people playing beat the clock to get the next delivery..

Unsurprisingly we don’t hear about any procedural inquiries/requirements of the delivery companies(Doordash, seamless.. etc)

    Why?

Because everyone wants their cut of the delivery bonanza so a blind eye is turned.

It amazes me that we don’t have fatalities every day….

Trying to cross First or Second Avenues is a death-defying feat.
And it seems the larger vehicles – SUVs, vans & trucks – have the worst drivers.
I hope and pray the victim will be OK.
