    • Reagan dumped the violent mentally ill onto the streets. Republicans have spent nothing on crime prevention or education. Republicans are responsible for all the violence and criminality.

  1. We used to have prisons for the Criminally Insane. Whatever happened to those? Surely, the status quo is worse than those were, or at lesst could be.

  3. If they find him, they’ll say he’s homeless and has mental problems and the taxpayers of this city will pay for his, what is becoming a daily phrase, “psychiatric evaluation”. Yet crime is down? A man was killed in the Union Square Station, yet subway crime is down? We are being held prisoner by people who don’t belong in the streets, but belong in jail, no matter what their mental and emotional state.
