The whimsical prints and sustainable fabrics that make the sassy sleepwear brand Printfresh so popular with women have arrived on the Upper East Side.
Printfresh, which gained notoriety selling their pajamas and lifestyle collection online, opened its second brick and mortar store in Lenox Hill last Friday, at 1019 Lexington Avenue, at the corner of East 73rd Street.

The brand’s colorful and unique designs — which begin as gouache paintings, which are then translated to a digital illustration — stopped pedestrians in their tracks as they paused to take in the eye-catching sleepwear now on display in the store’s front window.

Several then made a bee-line for the front door to browse the the small, but spacious boutique. With a convenient location in the heart of the Upper East Side, finding the right size pajamas is now quick and convenient for anyone who has been hesitant to order from their website over concerns about choosing the correct fit.

Inspired by plants, animals and home decor, Printfresh’s final patterns are screen printed by hand or embroidered by artisans in India using 100% organic cotton, according to the company.

Founded in 2016, Printfresh only has one other physical retail location, also in New York City, it’s flagship store at 260 Elizabeth Street in SoHo — which isn’t exactly a quick trip for an Upper East Side resident.

Thankfully, we can rest easy knowing the new UES store is close to home. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. On Sundays, Printfresh opens at noon.
