Bold burglars turned a luxury Madison Avenue hair salon into a crime scene this week. The crooks smashed their way in through a second-floor glass door and made off with jewelry and loot, police say, as burglaries targeting Upper East Side businesses
But why would a 2nd story salon be targeted?
Maybe because the burglars – or someone they know – had some familiarity with the salon – and knew that jewelry was sold there and the cash register & tip jar were left full of cash overnight?
