  1. I doubt that the people who don’t pick up their dogs’ poop will pay any heed to this campaign. Everyone knows you’re supposed to pick up after your pets. Some people just don’t think they need to comply with the laws and rules that make for a clean, healthy, safe environment for everyone.

    It’s disgusting how much poop is left on the streets and in our local parks. It’s particularly bad here on the UES – far worse than other neighborhoods I visit, such UWS, Gramercy, midtown, or the North Bronx. But I don’t know what can be done about it.
