Ivana Trump, Upper East Side resident and first wife of former President Donald Trump and was found dead in her Lenox Hill townhouse Thursday afternoon, police confirm to Upper East Site.
The 73 year old was found around 12:40 pm at the bottom of a staircase inside her home on East 64th Street near Fifth Avenue, investigators say. It’s not clear whether she fell prior to her death, but police say no foul play is suspected.

The former President revealed Ivana Trump’s passing on his social media network, praising the mother of his three eldest children for a life well lived.

After a short investigation by police, Ms. Trump’s remains were removed from the townhouse by the Medical Examiner’s office, who will determine her cause of death.

Ivana Trump played an integral role in the creation of Donald Trump’s real estate empire, according to the New York Times, working alongside the future President on some of his flashiest developments, including Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue and the defunct Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City.
The power couple’s divorce was finalized in 1992.
Update: On Friday afternoon, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed Ivana Trump died from ‘blunt impact injuries of torso’– likely the result of a fall– and reported her death to be accidental.
