Are you serious???? Is this a joke???? Been walking the park a good portion of my life in manhattan..I am 78 years old and never ever had it ever occurred to me that a CAR inside the park do me in!!! This has to be thought up by so.e very sick people…and the cost of this “safety” measure…yikes…we are being led by morons.
I had no idea how endangered I have been all these years. I use the 89th St. entrance into the park and I was unaware of how a car could drive right up those stairs and into the park killing me instantly. Thank you so much for this worthwhile project.
How are the bollards at the top of the stairs at the 89th St. entrance protecting us? Do they really think a car is going to try to fly up the stairs? I don’t understand the thinking there.
