MANHATTAN – A month after Upper East Site brought you a first look inside the new Yorkville Deli Market while under construction, the shop opened its doors to customers Friday, with the new option for eats on the Upper East Side offering neighbors a wide variety of products.

The open, welcoming space on Second Avenue at East 91st Street is pristine and includes a long cooler of every possible bottled drink you can imagine on the right, with kiosks in the middle packed full of must-have snacks.

Situated next to Lisa’s On 2nd Avenue Hallmark Store in the Knickerbocker Plaza development, Yorkville Deli Market sits next to two high-traffic UES locations, James Cagney Plaza and Ruppert Park.
The main attraction here is the deli— which features two stations, one for fresh sandwiches made with Boars Head cold cuts and another station for made-to-order salads.

If greens aren’t your thing, don’t worry, cakes and pastries are in a case to the left of the salads. In the back, you’ll find an ice cream selection that will give any small grocery on the Upper East Side a run for its money.

The Yorkville Deli Market offers such a wide selection of hot and cold cooked-to-order food items, you’d think you’re looking at a diner menu instead of a deli.

From omelettes and brunch to burritos and burgers to panini’s and avocado toast— even halal food is available to order.

In the back, you’ll find a hall lined with shelves stocked with a wide variety of pet foods, household and cleaning supplies.

A welcome addition to the neighborhood, Yorkville Deli Market also features an ATM inside and accepts mobile payments in case you forget your wallet.
