MANHATTAN – The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is now investigating a disturbing bias attack on the Upper East Side where a 69-year-old woman out jogging was targeted and attacked by two suspects who spewed vile words, then threw some kind of liquid at the woman.
The despicable incident, which police are classifying as a case of aggravated harassment, happened back on February 21st at the intersection of East 77th Street and Second Avenue in Lenox Hill.

It was just before 8:30 pm that night when police say the two suspects made anti-gay statements then threw what investigators describe as an ‘unknown white liquid substance’ at the woman, dousing her in the back of head.
After their hateful attack on the 69-year-old jogger, police say the two suspects ran away from the scene of the crime.

Surveillance video released by police late Wednesday night shows the suspects, who are both wearing masks, walking north along the sidewalk on Second Avenue near Doc Watsons and Mighty Quinn’s Barbecue towards East 78th Street.
