Just before 4:00 pm on Thursday, May 11th, investigators say the suspect was riding a red scooter southbound on Fifth Avenue when he stopped near the corner of East 89th Street outside the Guggenheim Museum.
Cops say the creep snuck up on an 18-year-old woman walking downtown and grabbed her rear end, in an apparent attempt to gratify his depraved desires.
After the sexual abuse, police say the suspect took off from the scene on his red scooter, fleeing southbound on Fifth Avenue. A Surveillance camera at East 86th Street and Fifth Avenue captured images of the suspect, who police say has a medium build and was last seen wearing a red baseball hat, a white tank top and red pants.
