MANHATTAN – Just a few hours after a man was slashed in a gruesome attack during a fight over a woman on Sunday afternoon, another disturbing crime played out on the streets of the Upper East Side— this one a gunpoint robbery caught on crystal clear surveillance video.
The black pistol in the masked robber’s gloved hand is unmistakable— and so is his bright blue apparel.

The video shows the gunman storm into the Green Olive Convenient Shop near the corner of East 66th Street and First Avenue just before 8:30pm, his gun drawn and pointing across the store at the 28-year-old clerk.

Staring down the barrel of a handgun, police say the clerk was approached by two accomplices who came in the store behind the gunman– Police say they took cash and a carton of cigarettes before all three made their escape from the crime scene.
Investigators say the trio got into a white Honda Accord that was last seen going northbound on First Avenue.
There’s a $3,500 reward for information leading to the suspects’ arrest in this gunpoint robbery, according to the NYPD’s 19th Precinct.
