President Joe Biden returns to the Upper East Side next week to cash in on the deep-pocketed donors during two Democratic campaign fundraisers held in the homes of a billionaire and a Greek shipping tycoon, where tickets start at a reported $25,000 per person.

On Wednesday, May 10th, the Commander-in-Chief will first look to fill his campaign war chest at the home of billionaire former private equity executive Hamilton ‘Tony’ James — the first such fundraiser since officially kicking off his reelection campaign last week — according to a memo sent to donors viewed by CNBC.

The ex-Blackstone chief’s $24.9 million duplex apartment spans the 13th and 14th floors of 845 Fifth Avenue, between East 64th and 65th Streets. The guest list is secret, of course; however, in addition to President Biden, the campaign expects Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to attend the fundraiser, the memo states.

Biden will then travel in ‘The Beast‘ to the second fundraiser at 13 East 94th Street, home to Greek logistics magnate George Logothetis, who purchased the townhouse between Fifth and Madison Avenues for $12.5 million in 2011, according to city records. Logothetis hosted a fundraiser for President Obama at the home in 2015.

President Biden hasn’t been on the Upper East Side since last October when the presidential motorcade cruised up First Avenue en route to a pricey Democratic fundraiser at the home of Biden 2020 supporters James and Kathryn Murdoch, the son and daughter-in-law of the conservative billionaire owner of FOX News and New York Post, Rupert Murdoch.

Though no official travel route will be released, we expect to receive more details about the presidential visit, including Mr. Biden’s arrival and departure times from New York, to be revealed in the President’s public schedule next week.

Upper East Side residents can expect to see the NYPD installing barricades on sidewalks lining the streets and avenues surrounding the fundraisers’ locations early next week, before the presidential motorcade’s arrival.
Update: According to the President’s public schedule, Mr. Biden will arrive on the UES around 5:15 pm to attend the fundraisers, and depart from the Wall Street Heliport at 8:30 pm.
