  1. The lease had been up not too long ago and they took short term renewals
    shoplifting wasn’t the only deal breaker.

  2. The politicos will be outraged when they finally realize that the UES has become a retail store wasteland with very few places for their actual tax-paying constituents to purchase necessities at reasonable prices. I suppose Amazon will get the last laugh at the AOC crowd when it becomes the primary means of shopping for New Yorkers as the move to online shopping accelerates.
