Elderly Man Assaulted in Random Upper East Side Attack: NYPD

An elderly man was assaulted in a random attack on the Upper East Side and the NYPD is hoping the public can track down the suspect.

Investigators say it was back on Monday, November 28th, at around 6:20 am when the suspect roughed-up a 72-year-old man who was simply walking down the sidewalk near the corner of Third Avenue and East 81st Street in Yorkville.

The suspect came up on the senior citizen and punched him in the chest a singe time, in what police say was a completely unprovoked attack.
