MANHATTAN – Investigators have just released surveillance video taken in the moments after two men were savagely gunned down inside an Upper East Side auto repair shop Monday morning— the crystal clear video shows the suspected killer casually walk to his SUV as not to draw attention, then look around before getting inside and fleeing the devastation police say he left inside the Yorkville garage.

It was around 9:30 Monday morning when a quiet block between First and Second Avenues was turned into the scene of a murder. Investigators say the gunman — the man who’s seen on video wearing a dark blue hoodie and white gloves— entered walked into NY Auto, Inc.’s garage on East 95th Street and killed the 33-year-old manager Mario Gonzalez, shooting him in the head and shoulder.

“This guy with gloves on seems premeditated,” a relative of Mario told Upper East Site after seeing photos and video of the suspect.

“I pray he’s brought to justice,” they added.

A second employee, a 43-year-old man, was was shot in the back and rushed to New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center where he’s in stable condition.

A witness at the scene earlier this week told Upper East Site that no gunshots were heard as the shooting unfolded, implying that the killer somehow muffled the gunshots so witnesses wouldn’t hear them.

Surveillance video shows the suspect’s vehicle is a blue 2016 or 2017 Chevy Equinox— not a Traverse as reported at the time of the vicious crime— identified by Upper East Site through the SUV’s tail light design– police say it was last seen going north on First Avenue.
