A young woman was sexually assaulted inside an Upper East Side restaurant last week, now police are on the hunt for a much older suspect who she says is responsible for the attack.
Investigators say it was last Monday, December 19th around 5:00 pm when the suspect, a middle-aged man with a goatee, began hitting on a 21-year-old inside Piccola Cucina Uptown, an Italian restaurant located at 106 East 60th Street, near the corner of Park Avenue.

Police say he told the young woman how beautiful she looked and then paid for her drink and meal. That’s when detectives say he also began touching her shoulder, back and breast.

Despite repeatedly telling him to stop, the handsy older man would not take no for an answer, police say, and kept touching the young woman inappropriately.

That’s when the woman, so shaken up by what was happening, went to the bathroom to hide from the stranger who had sexually assaulted her inside the restaurant, according to police.
